Based in Houston, Texas, Shannon Couch, founder of Mural Marvels, paints exceptional murals in homes and businesses. She works with clients to design murals that create the atmosphere, energy, and environment they want in their spaces.

Her art career began in 1995 and has evolved over time. She taught art at public school for eight years before deciding to start her own mural business.

Shannon recieved her art education from Stephen F. Austin State University, where she was fortunate to work with professors and fellow artists who nurtured her interests and talents. Extensive course studies such as printmaking, painting, drawing and ceramics helped tremendously in her knowledge and skills.

Today she uses all of the skills acquired throughout her career to work closely with clients to create unique works of art, perfect for both the architectural spaces and for the people who inhabit them.
